  • Maximum interest-free loan of $10,000 available to those who qualify for Pennsylvania down payment assistance
  • 5-year declining lien, forgiven annually at a rate of 20%
  • Buyer must contribute a minimum of 3% of the purchase price toward a down payment

Keystone Assistance Loan Program

  • Maximum interest-free loan of $3,000 for first time home buyers who qualify for down payment assistance in Pennsylvania
  • Payable only upon payoff of first mortgage, sale of property or transfer of title

Keystone Government Loan Program

  • Maximum interest-free loan of $2,000 for first-time home buyers, $1,000 for non-first time home buyers who qualify for Pennsylvania down payment assistance

Home Buyer’s Education

To qualify for down payment assistance in Pennsylvania, buyers with a FICO credit score lower than 660 are required to complete a home buyer counseling and education course before closing.
