My name is Tony Eckert and I’m a licensed Personal Advisor here at Meridian Home Mortgage Corporation.
Please allow me to introduce myself and my family; my wife Kate, our two lovely daughters Isabel and Emily, and our son Sam.
We’ve lived in Hanover, Pennsylvania for 6 years and we love it. Our house is located in the country on the top of a mountain, which our kids think is really neat. It’s nice to come home after work to my family and some peace and quiet.
I was born and raised in Reisterstown, Maryland. My extended family still lives in Reisterstown which is about an hour away from our Hanover home. I have a brother named Donny and a sister named Terri who I love to spend time with because there’s always a lot of laughter.
Saving money is always a good feeling and I look forward to helping you do that here at Meridian!
I’ve worked at Meridian Home Mortgage for 9 years now. Prior to this, I was in the hospitality industry for about 15 years. I liked that field except for working a lot of holidays. What ultimately drove me to switch my career was not having holidays free to spend with my family.
Outside of work, my hobbies include spending time with my family, coaching children’s athletics and playing golf. I also love to work on our house on the weekends. In my spare time I like getting caught up on all the sports action around the country. I’m a big sports person; love to watch it and love to play.
Traveling is something my wife and I would like to do when our kids get a little older. We’ve been to Florida with our family which was really fun. Kate and I have always wanted to visit Italy and Greece. I’m sure one day we’ll travel there; it’s only a matter of time.
I am licensed Personal Advisor. I’ll be your first point of contact. I’ll work with you and determine which program will work best for you based on your needs. My responsibilities also include gathering pre-qualification information, presenting options and reviewing the settlement statement prior to closing. I enjoy talking with all our customers to learn how we can help them.
