Everyone that I dealt with was extremely curteous and understanding. They were professional, respected my privacy and gave me explanation in full detail. From the beginning I had the feeling of doing the right thing. We refinanced to save money and reduce our term. We eliminated some consumer debt and received some cash back. It was overall a very good experience for us.

multiple contact people made responding to phone messages, emails a bit confusing at times. Everyone I spoke with was courteous and professional. My main complaint was the title company got the address wrong (switched a number in the zip code putting me in Pope Valley, CA instead of Hidden Valley Lake, CA) Since this was a refi, I wasn't really interested in moving. fortunately the documents that got filed had the correct address.

This is the second time I've used Meridian Home Mortgage to refinance my house. In both cases I went to several lenders to get information on refinancing including Bank of America, Chase, and Wells Fargo. I found Meridian Home Mortgage to be the best. They were:
- the most professional in how they spoke to me
- very knowledgeable and honest
- the best at simplifying the process of refinancing and gave me the best explanations for my questions.
- very good at making sure I understood each step in the refinace process
- patient with me
- helpful in providing me with a timeline of events for my loan and kept me informed through each step
- good at resolving problems that came up with the underwriter for my loan
I cannot say enough good things about the Meridian Team. I want to recognize Tony Eckert and Drew McHale. These two guys are exceptional. I got a sense right away over the phone that I was working with very knowledgeable and experienced people. People who were interested in helping me with my loan. Every time I spoke with these guys and hung up the phone I always felt I was dealing with a first class operation. Thank you for a great refinance experience!

Just wanted to thank Ron so very much. My first contact with Meridian was with Ron Miles. I was nervous about refinancing my home mortgage and was dreading and searching for a while for a reliable source. I spoke with Ron Miles who had all the right answers to my myriad of questions.
Let me say that I was already in the process of refinancing with the bank that held my mortgage at the time, but something just didn't feel right. When I told the fella I was not going to continue with them, he said that I would not be able to get anything better or that my property would not be appraised high enough and that I would loose out on the opportunity at hand. Well I was able to prove that banker wrong thanks to Ron Miles. Not only did I get a great lower interest rate but he was able to include the payoff of my equity loan which the other bank was unable to do.
Ron is extremely knowledgeable of all that would be involved in the process of refinance. He was also reassuring and built up my confidence that I was making the correct decision this time. It is my opinion that he must be a great asset to your corporation.
I cannot thank him enough along with all the others who assisted in my refinancing. I found Ron, his brother and Drew to be friendly and patient. I never felt as though they were placating me or being pushy or deceptive. Never made me feel they got my business, now have no time for any menial questions from me. I truly appreciate their help. Everything went smoothly. And even now I believe they are there for me.
Ron Miles directed me in the correct path. To the highest point as your name Meridian implies. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I can now breathe easy and relax.
I will recommend them and Meridian Home Mortgage to anyone contemplating refinance. In fact, with confidence I just gave Ron's number to my neighbor who is interested, but has been afraid of whats out there or making the wrong choice.

All I can say is that Meridian demonstrated that the old saying, "If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is" isn't always true. Although their brochure sounded "too good to be true" I called them and was not disappointed. After having at least three banks tell me why they couldn't help me to refinance my mortgage and home equity loan, Meridian told me they could - and they did. The process was not difficult and the service was timely. I recommend anyone looking to refinance to consider Meridian. I'm glad I did.

All three people that I dealt with handled all questions promptly. They were well-informed and quickly handeled all paperwork. The whole process went very smoothly and I was kept well-informed during the whole process. I knew what to what to expect and when. I couldn't have been more pleased with this transaction.

I was very disappointed in the handling of my loan refinance. It took forever. Much longer than other companies record. The final payoff was late causing me to have to pay the late fees. My escrow was depleted which was sprung on us at closing. I will not recommend your company to anyone. The personal I dealt with were kind. I believe the problem was beyond them.

Everything worked pretty smoothly. Everyone at Meridian were knowledgeable and great to work with. They answered all my questions and they worked very well as a team. Even though different people contacted me the story was the same. No confusion.

Meridian Home Mortgage Company made the process on the refinance of my property very simple and easy. They took the steps to insure I understood every detail and were always available to answer any questions. I was unsure of the refinance process due to the horror stories I've heard in the past. This was nothing like that. It seemed like I was speaking to them about the possibility of a refinance one day and the next day I was signing the paperwork. They make the process as painless as possible. I would not hesitate to use their services in the future. Thanks again guys.

The refinance process with Meridian was quick,required a minimum of paperwork, and Drew & Tony responded to my every question or request without any delay. The whole process took just over six weeks compared to the four-plus months I endured with a major bank three years ago. I have told my sister about the ease of the process and she is considering using Meridian for her next refinance Should I want to refinance in the future, I will turn to Meridian again, and suggest anyone looking for a home mortgage consider them as well. Decided to investigate Meridian HM after receiving a mailer to reduce my current mortgage rate and found very good reviews so I decided to make contact and start the refinance process. Was very pleased with the interaction of their staff and felt that the process was a little longer than expected but overall I give them high marks for satisfaction. Would recommend to friends and family going forward.

Our experience with Meridian was a pleasant one and we have refinanced with them for a 2nd time saving us a good deal of money in interest. The fees were average and the interest rate was a good one. All and all the few people who worked on our loan did so with professionalism, courtesy and in a timely manner. We only had one instance where an employee mistakenly drew up our first papers with the incorrect information, but once we pointed this out they corrected it immediately. I would highly recommend this company!

I was not sure when I received the introductory letter what this was all about. I checked the background of Meridian and found them to have a very high rating through the BBB. When I called the office, the person explained in way that I could understand what was being offered. Subsequently, I found all of the staff to be very helpful, willing to answer questions that I had, and make suggestions when appropriate. The process was relatively quick, very little hassle or miscommunications, and was completed within the framework of the schedule that I had been told would happen. Two concerns. I too did not receive a copy of our credit reports and was told that it was policy not to give them to the clients because of some agreement with credit agencies. The second concern seems like a very minor one, but I think that the folks who answer the telephone need PR training in dealing with incoming phone calls. A friendlier and more personal tone would help. We did receive a copy of our appraisal shortly after everything was completed. It is good to have that information.
On the whole I would be very pleased to recommend Meridian to our family and friends. I would also like to thank all of those we worked with for their help,assistance in the process, and care in carrying out their responsibilities.

I took a chance with Meridian Mtg. when the mortgage company I was currently working with strung me along for 2 months. My personal advisor, Tony Tucci, was great returning my calls and getting me the answers I needed. Even when the other mortgage company wouldn't give Meridian the release to the appraisal I just had done, Tony told me they would work it out. After a few phone calls Tony was able to get the appraisal and use it for this loan. There were a few snags at the end. One being that I thought my taxes were being escrowed and didn't realize this until the day I spoke with someone else to set up the closing. Also, we had to change finance company's part of the way through and that held up the process a little. Over all this was a painless refinance and Tony Tucci is an extremely patient and helpful advisor. I would strongly recommend this company and Tony to take care of any refinancing or mortgage needs.

After not having any success with several banks, including our current lender, we got the refi letter in the mail from Meridian. Unsure how legit it was, I got online to research them a bit, and everything I found seemed to be legit and positive so I gave them a call. I was especially impressed with Tony Tucci, the personal advisor I spoke to. He gathered the necessary information he needed to see if he thought they could help us and answered all my questions. He was both professional and personal in his dealings, and always got back to me promptly when he said he would check something out for me. Meridian does take a different approach to the refi process, with several different people handling different aspects of the processing, so you do get calls/emails from lots of different people. All of the people we dealt with performed in a timely and professional manner, although I did not find all of them as helpful as Tony. I was glad that he had said I could always call him if I had any questions anytime during the process. We did have a few glitches along the way - had to pay a few things off before we could proceed and fix some minor things and pay for a second trip out by the appraiser - which extended the process a little. But, all in all, I felt they stayed on top of the process and came through in the end, saving us about $800/month.

This was the slowest process for refinance we've ever been involved with. Requests for the same information (at one point we were even asked for pay stubs we didn't even have yet, yes that is correct). The promise of NO extra costs led to $30 every time we turned around for fax fees from our current line of credit people because Meridian kept asking for payoff amount. One representative was down right rude when I called to see what was going on after weeks,& weeks & weeks, etc. of waiting. My account, my money, my loan and he's rude because I was just trying to get an update?! Nearly each time we were contacted it was by a different person. All just too frustrating and I would not reccommend them to my friends.

I also have not got copy of my appraisal, this is supossed to be given in a mortgage closing, also no credit report, would like to get those since it is supposed to be given in mortgage situation.

I was skeptical when I received the mailing. I took a chance and was pleased with the outcome. I did have two issues with the process. One was that I did not receive my appraisal that I paid for. I was told that I would get it soon but I still have not received it. The other issue was the settlement statement which I received was different than the settlement statement at closing. Overall the experience was good and I would recommend this company to others.

The whole process took too long; had to repeat sending documents; the original mailer letter didn't come close to my actual refinance loan (mailer letter had a better refinance plan and I could have paid off/consolidated more of my debt with it); had multiple agents calling for information rather than staying with one;

I took a chance when I got a mailing from this company on it being legit. Everything went smoothly and I was happy with the results. The only thing that disappointed me was that I had to pay for my appraisal and was told that I would get a copy of it since it was at my expense. After numerous requests to receive a copy and three months since closing, I still have not received anything from them. Really don't understand why they told me I would receive a copy and then not get one to me even after requesting it.
